Overview

Annapurna base camp lies at wonderful Annapurna Sanctuary. Hence, Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is another name for this Annapurna Base Camp Trek. It is a high glacial basin lying 40 km directly north of Pokhara, at the bottom of Mt. Annapurna. The elevation of this oval-shaped plateau is 4,130 metres above sea level. This is wonderful trek destination since it is surrounded by the spectacular Annapurna mountain range. You will also have an opportunity to reach Mt. Machhapuchhre (Mt. fish tail) base camp on the route to Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Local village,  preserved culture, warm local hospitality, beautiful rhododendron & green forest, wonderful landscape, spectacular high mountains, natural hot spring are the major attractions of this trek. Because of this unique feature every year thousands of foreigner visit this area.
